Recently I have been reading a lot on my Kindle. I love my kindle, seriously. I can shop for books anytime I want and it keeps me from being showcased on an episode of Hoarders. Through their "other readers have liked" section I have run across some interesting books I would have never been exposed to otherwise. I'd like to offer my reviews to those books occasionally on my blog, in hopes that other people will have a chance to enjoy (or stay away from) these books as well.
This weekend I want to introduce to Ms. Kelsey Sutton, author of Some Quiet Place and Where Silence Gathers, as well as a few others. I have not read her other books, but these two were PHENOMENAL!
Taking place in the same world that is much like our own, but with personified emotions, Some Quiet Place and Where Silence Gathers introduces us to a new way to see into the human soul. In the first installment, Some Quiet Place, our heroine cannot feel emotions. She SEES them. Fear has become her worst tormentor, and her savior, but the others have given up on her. This gripping tale of intrigue and mystery leaves the reader with a sense of wonder and fascination as the story unfolds and we see emotions as people, as beings, instead of the irrational behavior of humans. This tale is followed up in the same world with Where Silence Gathers. A tale about a young girl completely obsessed with Revenge. Revenge for a wrong that was done to her, revenge that owed to her. What choices will she make, when she finally meets Forgiveness?
You can check out the synopsis of each book on Good Reads or Amazon.
